church online home guide

Welcome to our Church Online Home Guide. Our Home Guide is to provide you with tips, best practices, and a discussion guide to make the most of your online experience. You can lead and pastor your home by creating healthy habits when you take part.

These ideas may vary depending on your home dynamic. This is meant to be a helpful guide so you can get the most out of your time at home. Prepare, Participate, Process.

Day By Day: The Power of Solitude

Ask everyone to share their favorite moments from service.
What phrase or moment did they relate to the most?
Review your notes.

Read the Scripture aloud

And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

Discussion Questions

Solitude is a pressing into a solitary focus, not simply running away from everything.

How are you pausing and pondering?

What are some ways you can implement moments of solitude into your schedule?

How are you choosing to pause, plan, and press in?

how to press in guide

Get quiet and listen.
Learn to hear it. Once you learn to hear HIS VOICE you can hear it anywhere.
You don’t talk over the teacher if you actually want to be taught.

Get in the Word.
Figure out the way that you take in the word of God BEST.

To reflect is to think deeply and carefully.
You reflect to remember.
Another interpretation states that selah comes from the
Hebrew word “Salah” - which essentially means “to measure”.

Write it down/ Journal.
Speak it out/ Create voice memos.

Take a moment to pray as you close out your reflection time.
