21 Days of Prayer & Fasting

We kicked off the year in strength with 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting. Twice a year, we set aside time to pray and fast as a community. We believe starting anchored to God's word will set our pace for the entire year. This year, we developed a 365-day Bible reading plan — The Born Again Journal — that we encouraged our community to follow along with. In addition, we kicked off weekly prayer rooms, Wednesdays at VOUS Miami Gardens, giving our community an opportunity to corporately pray together. Although Pray First is over, we've continued hosting the weekly prayer room.

Heart & Soul

21 Days of Prayer and Fasting culminated with Heart + Soul, a stakeholders meeting at VOUS City, as Pastor Rich cast vision for the year and brought key updates around our VOUS SoMi Building Project.

VOUS Girl

For the first time ever, we hosted VOUS Girl at FOUR physical locations. VOUS GIRL is a community, a gathering for all women in every season of life. Pastor DawnCheré shared a word, "Before I Forget" reminding us that as we reflect on God's past faithfulness and our personal testimony, we build confidence for the future. Before we forget, let us testify of His goodness!

VOUS Worship

VOUS Worship has already had an incredible year! In anticipation of their upcoming album, Dying to Be Different, they have released three singles: Prodigal Praise featuring Nate Diaz, I Need Your Presence Now, and Holy Jesus featuring Mariah McManus Goss. In January, they recorded live at VOUS City, capturing all songs of the upcoming track list for music video release. In addition, they are working on a stripped project, re-imagining this new music, for release in late summer and early fall. VOUS Worship is reaching the local church and the world with the praise of Jesus, all thanks to your generosity.

Night to Shine

In February, I Love My City hosted our annual Night to Shine in partnership with the Tim Tebow Foundation, creating a prom night experience for adults with special needs. Gathering at VOUS SoMi, this night honored, celebrated, and blessed our community. It was incredible to meet each honored guest and crown them kings and queens.

Homestead Correctional Institution

Since 2020, we have been streaming Sunday services and hosting weekly Bible studies at Everglades Correctional Institution for men. In April, we were able to expand our Prison Care Ministry to the Homestead Correctional Institution for women. It has been beautiful to reach a new community and expand our Prison Care team serving. We believe that weekly these women are encountering the gospel and building a relationship with Jesus.

Mission Trip: Dominican Republic

In March, we took a team from VOUS to the Dominican Republic. In addition to staff and servant leaders, we partnered with Florida Christian School, who brought 40 students to serve local churches in the Dominican Republic. While there, we focused on home renovations, sports camps, kids ministries, and supply donation projects.

Friends + Family Pastors Assembly

In January, we hosted our second annual Pastors Assembly for the first time ever at VOUS Miami Gardens. Over two days of training and impartation, pastors from around the world gathered to be encouraged, equipped, and reminded — God is with them. It is one of our greatest honors to partner with them in building the capital C church. We're grateful for special guests Jabin Chavez, Dharius Daniels, Mariah McManus Goss, Rich Wilkerson Sr., and Deny Duron who poured into the room.

VOUS SoMi Building Project

After prayerful planning and consistent steps of faith, we’re excited to announce that VOUS has received official approval to break ground on our new permanent location in South Miami: VOUS SoMi. This marks a significant chapter in our story, as we expand our reach and deepen our roots in the heart of the city. VOUS SoMi will be more than a building — it will be a home for community, creativity, and transformation. A place where people encounter Jesus, build lasting relationships, and step into their God-given purpose. We’re believing that what starts here will ripple far beyond, impacting generations to come.We anticipate to break ground in Q3. We ask you to prayerfully consider investing in the vision.

Entering its 15th year, VOUSCon exists to encounter God, equip the church, and empower next-generation leaders. This year, we're excited to bring back old favorites and introduce a fresh lineup of faces. This summer, VOUS High Camp is gearing up to be a life-changing experience for the next generation. Designed to spark faith, forge friendships, and fuel purpose, the camp will gather students from across our community for a week of powerful worship, engaging messages, and unforgettable moments. It’s more than just fun — it’s formation. As our youth step away from the noise of everyday life, they’ll step into environments that cultivate identity, calling, and a deeper connection with Jesus. We believe this camp will mark hearts, raise leaders, and build a generation rooted in truth and ready to lead with love.
