We have reached the sad moment of the SZN, it’s the last week of crews! We have seen a lot of lives impacted and changed and it’s because of the sacrifice that you have put in all SZN.
Now is the time to not let up, but to go in even more. Give this week all you got! Don’t take this week for granted. Don’t miss any moment to invite someone to your crew or to pray with people in your crew.
As you are going into this last week of crew, take a SWOT of your season. Talk about the wins of the season! How has God moved in your crew? What leaders is He growing and bringing up in your crew? Think about how crew has impacted you as a leader as well!
As you think about the wins, take time to think about the things that could improve. Do I have building blocks? How am I getting people to my crew? Am I engaged in my chats or spending time with the people in my crew outside of crew time. Make those points goals to improve and hit for SZN 3.
Also start thinking of opportunities in your crew. Who can I empower to become a building block? Who can I encourage to lead a crew? Who can I take under my wing to learn leadership with the plan of them launching their own crew next season. What things can I do for my crew as far as hangouts, prayer, or just time together.
When we do all of these things, it makes a huge difference not only with our crew, it makes a difference within ourselves too! This how teams become championship teams, through planning, making goals for themselves, and hitting those goals.
Thank you so much for the impact all of you have made this SZN. The sacrifice you make makes a very big difference and lives are being changed because of it. Let’s give this week all we have, and finish the season strong.

Let's all make sure that we are turning in our Crew Reports and Headcounts right after your crew is done. Let's not wait for someone to text us a day or couple days after your crew is over to submit your report and your headcount.

This back-to-school season, we have the opportunity to show up for our city in a meaningful way. On Saturday, August 2, we’re hosting a Back to School Bash at the Samuel K. Johnson Youth Center, located inside Charles Hadley Park. It’s a chance to serve local families by distributing backpacks filled with school supplies and making sure every student feels seen, supported, and ready to start the year with confidence.
Donate - Fill backpacks for families in need for the school year. You can purchase supplies locally and bring to a VOUS Location or donate online.
Serve - Help host our annual Back To School Bash for families in our community — distribute backpacks, check-in guests, and serve our city during a morning of fun and games.
