We're Stewards, Not Owners

We’re getting to the root of things. Examining our intentions, our heart, our motives. Our prayer is that we would have a pure perspective on what God has entrusted to us. It’s all His — we’re stewards, not owners. When we recognize it’s His, it makes us yearn for His mind, His sight, His perspective on our finances.

Why I Give

God doesn’t want something from you, but for you.

God has given us, as believers, the privilege to give of our lives and money. When we give, God gives us opportunities to operate in generosity. Our obedience through giving, promotes growth in both our spiritual and physical lives. God’s generosity is unmatched. Not only did he give us His Son, but He gave us life— and life more abundantly. Our response to His generosity should be generosity in return.

Generous Grace

God speaks more about money than any other subject in the Bible. Generosity is so important to God because where we place our attention and resources is where our heart will be. Jesus does not need our money but He wants our hearts, that is why He has given us His clear perspective on generosity. The foundation of the Theology of Money is the truth that “God is the Owner of All” and we are stewards He has entrusted with resources. By embracing God’s perspective of stewardship, we allow the Holy Spirit to shift our perspective on who and what we place our trust in.

Financial Pressure

There is a war for our attention — are you following Jesus or following money? Scripture reminds us you cannot serve two masters. Generosity is a privilege when greed is not your master.

The Last Paycheck

There’s a tension between an earthly compensation and eternal reward. Scripture tells us to Seek first His kingdom and everything else will be added. Are you investing your “last paycheck” into the kingdom of God by storing treasures in heaven and reaping an eternal reward?
SERMON: DATING DELILAH

Breaking Up With Delilah

Daily our mind and thoughts are given an invitation to engage in such things like, lust, envy, greed, pride and so much more. But we have been given free will to decide whether to take on this invitation or not. Through God’s power we are able to resist the devil and he will flee from us.

Potential Suicide

You might be down, but you're not out. God’s grace says you fell down, but you can get back up! If you’re feeling down, lean on the pillars of grace and truth.

We must choose to kill our flesh man so that Christ can resurrect in our life. Samson died once, but real men and women of Jesus die daily!
