We live it every time we hear prayer requests, and more, when we celebrate praise reports. [/lead]What better occasion to ask God to do the extraordinary than VOUS Conference? As Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr. said during Team Night, we have been preparing for not days, weeks, but months for Conference. Every detail that goes into Conference has gone through the eyes, hands, and care of so many. Now, just days before the Fillmore opens its doors for all of our attendees, we gathered one last time to expect, believe, and ask for this weekend to be a life-changing experience for everyone who enters. As Pastor Rich also mentioned, preparation builds expectation, and where expectation is, faith is as well.
See, VOUS Conference, at its core, is an “annual gathering dedicated to encountering God, equipping the church, and empowering the next generation of leaders”. That’s a big undertaking, one we know we cannot do alone. That’s why we gather to pray, because prayer takes our possible and activates the impossible that only God can do. Prayer is our eager petition to see God at work. It is our greatest tool in any endeavor we pursue.
