Here we go, again.

For the second time this year we are gathering as a community for 21 days of prayer and fasting. The first gathering in 2018 was in January and now as the Fall commences we are fasting again.

Again.

Why does that word not spark inspiration and excitement? If we aren’t careful, our attraction can be to the new instead of the again. Especially if the first time didn’t meet our expectations.

VOUS GIRL is a sisterhood of strength for every season. In life, seasons repeat themselves. The name “Fall” is the term used for the months September through November of every year of our lives. It’s Fall, again. Seasons come again, but we are different based upon what transpired in the space between. And if we underestimate our again, then we never really maximize the new season like we could have.

What are your expectations during these 21 days as we pray together, again? My encouragement to you is to embrace the again.

SEEK AGAIN

In order for any relationship to thrive it takes an investment of time. And all real relationships require seasons of recalibration. Pray First is an opportunity for you to seek God fervently, again. It is the chance to return to the realization that time in His presence, without a phone in your hand, will yield much more than any other time in your daily schedule.

SEE AGAIN

As we decide to seek again, God opens our eyes to see again. In prayer we see beyond the physical and look through the lens of faith to expect more for our present and more for our future.

SOW AGAIN

Prayer leads us to practical purpose. As we see the landscape of our lives through the lens of faith we see the opportunity to live a life of generosity. Generous with our words, our love, our finances, our time.

Have you underestimated this opportunity to pray first again? If so, I want to encourage you that this season can be full of life and inspiration. Here we go, again!
