Day 18: VOUS Kids & Families

“Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them!” Psalm 127:3-5 ESV

Children are an important and valuable part of God's Kingdom. God speaks about the importance of children throughout his Word. He continually reminds us that they are a blessing and a gift from Him. Because children are important to God, children are important to us.

It can be tempting for us to view children simply as a responsibility, but as we look to the Bible, we see that children are called "a heritage from the Lord," a reward. We can learn valuable lessons from their inquisitive minds and loving spirits. They take God’s word to heart, trust others fully, enjoy life openly, and approach situations humbly. The qualities they carry are so treasured that Jesus even tells us to be like children when we come to Him.

We have the privilege to be a part of shaping these qualities and building the next generation of world changers. At VOUS Kids, we are committed to developing and empowering the next generation of leaders who are passionately in love with Jesus. Our goal every week is to create an environment for every child to discover who God is and unfold who God has called them to be. We want to build an atmosphere of care, growth, and engagement for them to walk out a legacy of love and grace.

We know these children are going to change the world and we are honored to be a part of their story.
