We can't help but think about how thankful we are for our church family— servant leaders who set an example with full hearts and big smiles, ensuring that every single person is welcome.

Collisions With Christ: Zacchaeus The Tax Collector

Often times we find ourselves passing through places in our life, focused simply on getting from one point to another. Yet what happens when Jesus interrupts our schedules? Pastor DawnCheré Wilkerson recounts the story of a chief tax collector, Zacchaeus, and his collision with Christ; showing us how even in the midst of just passing through there is a purpose for us to reach people.

Zacchaeus was a very rich man. He had not hit rock bottom, he was not desperate for a miracle or healing, he was just curious about Jesus. How often are we unaware that we encounter people just like this every day who are simply curious about Jesus? The purpose of passing through is to bring as many people to God, to touch as many people as possible. We are called with a purpose as we are passing through to listen to the voice of God that is speaking, directing, and guiding us to people.
