CALLED TO LEAD

Have you ever felt called to something more? Maybe you've never thought about going into ministry... Or maybe you feel the call, but aren't sure where to start. Fortunately, we have just the solution. This summer, join us at VOUS Church for our first annual VOUSternship.[cta heading="(VOUS-TERN-WHA..?)" subtext="That's VOUS + INTERNSHIP in case you were wondering..." actiontext="SIGN ME UP" link="http://vouscollege.com/#vousternship"]

A Place to Lead

We believe that the purpose God has for your life is best realized when established in community. God magnifies your specific skills and abilities when you join alongside others to bring His Kingdom to earth. In 1 Corinthians 12:12, Paul compares the uniqueness in the body of believers to the human body,"The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ." Paul goes on to say "All of you together are Christ's body, and each of you is a part of it. (v.27)"

During your time at the VOUSternship, you'll learn how to:

Serve

Be part of our amazing teams at VOUS Church, and get a glimpse of what it takes to pull it all off. It's amazing what happens when we step out in faith—people start to take notice! When we lead in our actions and service, not only are we paving new paths but we make it that much easier for others to follow in our footsteps. You never know who you are inspiring through your boldness.

Cast Vision

The mark of a true leader is someone who has the ability to cast vision for themselves and those whom they lead. Leaders have the ability to see beyond just asking "what" and seek to answer the deeper question, "why?" Ultimately, no amount of speed or force can make up for a lack of direction. If we are to lead as we have been called, we must seek direction and purpose for our journey.Get clarity on who you are, what you want, and where you fit into God's overall plan by planting yourself in the local church, and stepping into new territory.

Catch the Little Foxes

In Song of Solomon 2:15, the chorus echoes,

"Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards..."

In this passage, the foxes represent the insidious little things that lead to destruction in community. Whether it's gossip, greed, offense, or immorality, these things grow, creating fractions and damaging relationships. As leaders, we are responsible to make sure the little foxes are caught. After all, little problems left unaddressed become big problems in time.Take the time to devote yourself wholly to God and His Kingdom, and you'll be amazed and how much your heart will change. During your VOUSternship, you'll have time committed to bettering yourself and going deeper into your relationship with God.

Go Further

One thing you will find about leadership is that it will take you further than you could imagine. You'll find yourself surrounded by new opportunities to be used by God. The same is true of those you lead. Because of your servant leadership, they will discover purpose and passion they never knew was within them. Whether it's a word of encouragement or a spark of creativity, God wants to leverage your gifts and talents to reach those around you.

Here at VOUS Church, you have a chance to be a part of history and discover your role in our body of faith by joining us this summer for our first ever internship opportunity! VOUSternshipis an exciting two-month program of hands-on ministerial experience. Not only will you dive deeper into theology and leadership training, you will also serve at our annual VOUS Conference, our largest outreach of the year. On June 8-10, we will welcome thousands of people from around the world as we transform South Beach, gathering at the iconic Fillmore Theater. Join us and watch what God is able to do through a summer of growth in character, creativity, and community!

We believe that when leaders lead, we will see a revival in our city and transformation in our world. Will you be a part of it? Make the decision to lean into the unknown and the uncharted. You'll find yourself surrounded by opportunities for friendship, fellowship, and so much more.[cta heading="Sign Up For VOUSTERNSHIP" subtext="That's VOUS + INTERNSHIP in case you were wondering..." actiontext="SIGN ME UP" link="http://vouscollege.com/#vousternship"]
